Sometimes I get really fascinated with the technology, even when I already know that it is possible ... Just the scenario is cool.

I see a high school friend of my online on Yahoo ... classmates 10 years ago ... haven't heard from him for over a year. He is in Tehran, I'm in Toronto. He says that he is meeting some other old friends and they are going out for a ride. So a few minutes later he logs back in. I ask him if he is text messaging over his cell. Apparently there is a wireless network on some parts of the city and he is chatting from his laptop. They find a webcam in the stuff they have in the car and connect it to the laptop. We can't connect since I'm at work and behind a firewall. So I connect to my desktop at home using Remote Desktop and put the desktop of my PC at home in my second monitor (I have a dual monitor at work). It connects alright now since that machine is not behind a firewall and I see the webcam showing their faces. We tease each other and they show faces. Its nostalgic a bit.

I am fascinated with how the technology is doing. Probably that's why I chose networking for my major.
